Who Am I?

I am 17 year old Kishma Ferdinand, from St. Lucia. Presently, I am a second year student (sophomore), completing my bachelors in Biology. I am seeking to further my education at a medical school, and become a qualified doctor for children with cancer. My  interests are mainly in debating, drums playing, stars and the study of cancer. I have grown and developed a talent in public speaking, having experience in both national and international debating, preaching of sermons in churches, various speeches, and much more. I have rated my self as 10 when it comes to communication, because I believe that because of my experiences, I have mastered the ability to express myself and reach out to people when I need to. Despite my skills in communication, frustration has become one of my greatest weakness, where I tend to give up on situations where I am faced with too many difficulties. When communication may get a bit too difficult, sometimes depending on the person or persons involved, I may tend to give up on the whole communication process and even choose to not communicate at all. I have, however, identified a solution to my problem. With diligence, i can make those situations that may seem to have much difficulty more personal, thus spending more time in overcoming the difficulties, rather than simply ignoring them.I believe that I am ready to take up this communication skills class, and is looking forward to a wonderful semester.
